EditSpline2 1.56 Update for Max 2.0 fixes the bug reine&connect undo bug, the not visible segement selection bug, and adds a closed and linear option for the Refine&Connect.

EditSpline2 1.55 Update for Max 2.0

More changes so it is more like the orignal 1.2 version. The ability weld non end points is back and the vertex ticks are always on. There is still no drop weld though, but there is now a Refine and Connect which is basically the same as the refine except it connects all the refined vertices when you are done. Also the right clicking to set the knot type is better in that it holds the selection if the knots are grouped (there is bug though some times the type of knot is not checked right in the menu).

EditSpline2 1.52 Update for Max 2.0

There are several changes in the Edit Spline 2. The first is that the drop weld and weld have been removed since Max's 3d snap work very well now. The weld now operates like the normal weld with the additional effect that if you turn the weld threshold to 0.0 that stupid do you want to weld coincident end points dialog won't appear thus that check box is now gone too. Since you can turn vertex ticks by using object property's dialog the Edit Spline2 no longer does. Now when you snap a vertex to another vertex it is automatically grouped.

EditSpline2

0.51 Fixes the attach orientation bug.

0.5 Added a drop/target weld through the use of the shift key and removed the annoying connect coincidence dialog

0.4 This should be a more stable version and the undo is back for the weld.

EditSpline2 is a rewrite of the original that will fix some of the short falling of the original EditSpline. It should appear in your Modifier list as Edit Spline 2. Changes right now include vertex ticks are now always drawn in Vertex and Object Mode, the selected splines are drawn in Vertex mode, the Weld button now welds any vertices together not just end points, and a new button CycleVerts. The CycleVerts allows you access the individual verts that are welded together. For instance if you have 3 verts welded together and you want to access one of those vertices you would select the welded vertex and press the CycleVerts button until the subvertex you want is selected. You can now just operate on that one subvertex.

There is now a drop weld. When you move a vertex over another vertex and release the mouse while holding the SHIFT key. That vertex is moved/welded to the nearest vertex(within 6 pixels) underneath the mouse.

There is also a Turn on auto weld dialg check box if this is unchecked you will not get the annoying weld coincident end point dialog.
